IBT Brings Savings to Efco

The next time you bite into a jelly donut or danish, you will probably be enjoying one of IBT’s customer’s products. Efco Products, located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., is a 100-year-old company that provides toppings and fillings for restaurant and supermarket chains.

IBT demonstrated the rapid payback of migrating away from preprinted bags and cartons to generic packaging materials by using print and apply product labeling systems. Through a partnership with ID Technologies, the first two systems are in place at Efco. The first is a bag labeling system for premixed dry goods and the second is a bucket labeler for jams and toppings. Two additional systems are planned for carton applications. Once again, IBT has proven itself a high value, solutions oriented systems integrator.
